INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE AUTHORS ON PREPARING THE PROMOTIONAL AND EXPERT CONTRIBUTIONS

All the articles, published in the EUROTEH magazine, are in Slovenian language. The articles of foreign contributors are therefore translated into Slovenian. The contributions must include the name, surname and address of the author, as well as the full address of the institution where the author is employed. In case of joint authorship, please provide the data mentioned above for all the contributing authors. In case the title of the article is too long, the editor will consult the author(s) about changing the title. All the articles are proofread and, in case there are bigger changes to the text, the editor sends the revised article to the author for approval. All the articles, provided by Slovenian or foreign authors, are reviewed, too. The board of editors sorts the contributions according to the valid typology of the Online Bibliographic System COBISS and enters them into the COBISS database.
The articles and any comments/statements contained therein are the sole responsibility of the author(s).

The expert contributions must contain a summary (max. 250 keywords) and a list of keywords (max. 10 words) and have to be structured in the following way:
- Introduction (presentation of the problem/topic and the goals of the article) - Description of the used materials and methods - The goals achieved in the article - The bibliography

The article title, summary and keywords also have to be provided in the English language. The English titles of the articles are published at the end of the magazine to comply with the conditions for entering into the international databases.

The maximum length of expert contributions is three (3) pages including the pictures. If the article is longer, the editor will consult the author about shortening the article or publishing it in two parts.

The decision, whether a contribution shall be treated as promotional or expert, is made by the Editorial board and its professional collaborators. The author shall be informed about the decision.

Once the article is published, the copyright is reserved by the publisher. The violation of these or any other rights shall be punished by the law. The author(s) shall be paid a fee for the contribution according to the valid publisher's price list, which is also published on the website. The editor board will send the author(s) a blank form to be filled with all the data necessary to pay the fee. The author also reveices a free copy of the issue in which the article has been published.

CONTRIBUTIONS

Expert contributions:

These articles must be written on a specific expert topic and must not include any marketing or promotional elements (commercial names, trademarks, manufacturers, description of a specific company product).
This group of expert contributions also contains the description of domestic products, developed for a certain customer. In this way we aim to stimulate the promotion of Slovenian economy, development and knowledge.

Promotional articles:

The article may contain all the marketing elements necessary to promote the product and the company selling it. It has to contain the full address of the company and the contact information.
The maximum length of the article is two A4 pages. We also offer our help in preparing the article to companies that decide to publish a promotional article. After the article is prepared, it is sent to the company for approval. You can find the price list for promotional articles on our website.
